notes: i wrote this after writing ~1500k about cass cain at a blockbuster because i wanted to write something violent instead. i think that's kinda funny.
When Rose thinks about what Slade had done to her, the full extent of the hell he put her through for all that time, all she sees is red, feels only her grip gnarled and twisted and wishes her healing factor let her crack her own bones so she could feel the furthest reach of her anger.
She fantasizes – however unrealistic and selfish and even childish it is – about squeezing her hands around his neck, back against the wall, nowhere for him to run, her grip bruising every part of his skin that it touches.
Sometimes, she imagines herself with fangs, blood stained and thirsty, tearing out his throat with all the force she has in her. In Titans Tower, she doesn’t know if she should smile at the thought or fear it.
